Network Marketing Companies - Details Matter
Network marketing companies are all different. Each has its own leaders; its own way of doing things; and its own policies. If you're looking for a network marketing company, it's best to pay attention to all the details. Many people don't realize it, but it's little things that decide whether you have a chance for long-term success with an MLM company. When you're analyzing the company, take a look at whether or not it owns it own software. That's one factor that can make a huge difference. Here's how it works - most new companies don't have a lot of cash. So, to keep costs down company leaders choose to rent the software to run the company. That means that instead of paying a huge up-front fee, they might have to only spend $10,000 a month on the software rental. That probably works fine for a while, but there are still a couple problems that can come up. For instance, all compensation plans have their own idiosyncrasies. No two are alike. Company leaders often discover too late that they can't change the software to handle changes. So even if they discover a better way of doing things, they can't, because the company is locked-in by the software. To make matters worse, many contracts have a clause that designates the software vendor as a co-owner of the database. As a result, if your company has tough times and can't make a payment, the software vendor can rent out the database. That list includes all the names of the group you have built. That may seem incredible, but it has happened. You're much better off with a company that owns its software. Many people who are frustrated with lack of MLM success have found ideas like this very useful. One of the best solutions to network marketing frustration is the ebook "Success In 10 Steps" by Michael Dlouhy. Dlouhy goes into great detail explaining the biggest frustrations people find trying to start their own successful business. Then he talks about how to solve those problems. Back in the early 1990s, Dlouhy joined over 100 MLMs. He studied and cataloged all their rep packs and recruiting tactics and compensation plans and training, along with his own results. He also talked to reps of many companies. In "Success In 10 Steps," you'll learn all about MLM strategies that are completely unworkable. And you'll also learn what does work. It's a pretty good read for anybody in the network marketing profession. |
