Family proud of Heath Ledger is a part of the Dark Knight
Heath Ledger family pride in his acclaimed turn as the Joker in the film "The Dark Knight" after attending the New York premiere, according to media reports Wednesday.
"The Dark Knight is everything we hoped it would be more", Ledger father, Kim, said in a statement on behalf of the ledger of the immediate family. "Heath loved the experience of creating this character and working conditions in the film. We are so proud of our boys." Kim Ledger and his wife, Heath's mother Sally Bell and her husband, and Heath's older sister, Kate, flew from Australia to the film's stars at the premiere Monday night, where the audience burst into cheers when Ledger name appeared in the credits .
