Hudson living the dream
"It-s definitely different," said Hudson. "Everyone here was either the three or four hitter in their college lineup and most of the pitchers you face were staff aces that pitched in the College World Series." Through 20 games, of which Philadelphia has won 14 to take the overall lead in the six-team NPF, Hudson has two hits in 12 at-bats. Like most rookies Hudson knows she will have to earn her way into the lineup and maintain a high level of play to stay. Thus as of now she-s waiting for a chance all while working hard daily to keep her game in tip-top shape. "You know what to do and just do it because there-s not a lot of coaching any more," said Hudson, who also played for the MAC All-Stars against the U.S. National team in June where she hit two hard shots against Monica Abbott. "I-m going to enjoy this and see what happens after the season." |
