IPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS?

I would go with the iPhone 3GS ONLY If:
You are NOT going to Jailbreak it (Basically hacking it to run unofficial applications)


This is because the 3GS' processor is extremely fast, and Jailbroken applications can use ALOT of your RAM, and so you will see slight burn marks on the back of your casing.

And also because the Jailbreak for the 3GS is in the beta stages still.

If you ARE going to Jailbreak, go the 3G. It is slower, but is
1. ALOT easier to Jailbreak on the 3G
2. 99% of all Jailbreak apps are compatible for the 3G
3. Lighter than the 3GS.

I HIGHLY recommend Jailbreaking, you can get:
Themes
Apps that Apple wont allow. (that doesn't necessarily mean p0rn)
Games
Customize ANY part of your iPhone
and so much more!!
And, regardless of what people say, there IS NO RISK AT ALL in Jailbreaking, and you can go back at any time.

So I recommend the 3G because:
Cheaper
Lighter
JAILBREAKING is compatible
etc...
